Hoshiari Devi Girls Inter College Annual Debate

The Hoshiari Devi Girls Inter College holds annual debates in memory of Mrs. Sukhbiri Devi. Each year students debate a topic succinctly arguing for or against it.

During the Annual Debate, in the first round students debate the topic at class levels. In the second round, the class winners compete for the first, second and third prizes.

The 2026 Annual Debate will take place on Saturday, December 12 from 10:00 am onwards, followed by the scholarship distribution ceremony.

The topic for the 2026 Annual Debate is: Is economic independence more effective than formal education for women?
